The 120 series has been through SECURE BY DESIGN several times without any problems. You can be assured that this product has been tested again and again without compromise to its integral components.
- The balance is fitted into the stile of the sash. It works with a 16mm wide by 18mm deep route out of the stile. There is no cause for concern about the amount of wood being taken out of the stile as it will be reinforced with the steel balance. The system then hooks on to a stainless steel clip situated within the frame of the window. This is also always hidden from view behind the meeting rail.
- The 120 series has been through secure by design several times without problem and we are more than happy to work closely with anyone wanting to gain accreditation of a window containing our balances.
- They can be used in new housing, refurb jobs or heritage and grade ll listed.
- The balance system can also be used in secondary glazing systems.
- The system enables full travel of the sash window within the frame, this is a huge plus benefit to fitting the system over any tradition sash pulley.
- These balances have also exceeded the 10,000 cycle test.
